WABCO Electronically Controlled Air Suspension System for Bus/Truck(ECAS)

2023-06-26
Electronically controlled air suspension system (ECAS) for passenger cars/trucks is composed of ECAS electronic control unit, solenoid valve, height sensor, airbag and other components. The height sensor is responsible for detecting changes in the height of the vehicle. The electronic control unit will receive input information, judge the current state of the vehicle, and activate the solenoid valve, which can adjust the inflation and deflation of each airbag. With the improvement of people's requirements for vehicle ride comfort and the development of passenger car/truck suspension technology, the application of air suspension on passenger cars/trucks is becoming more and more extensive.

ECAS can realize the setting and control of the roll height. There are multiple ways of unilateral roll or single-axis roll to choose from. At the same time, the system monitors the contact switch installed under the door to ensure the safety of the lowering process. If the contact switch is on If there is a response during the lowering process, the bus will automatically return to the normal driving height.
