The working principle of WABCO air drying tank mainly involves the filtration and drying of compres

WABCO air drying tank is the core component for processing compressed air. It is mainly composed of filter, filter screen, air valve, solenoid, disc valve, etc. The compressed air generated by the compressor flows into the air dryer through the joint. It first enters through the filter and initially separates impurities and oil in the compressed air. Then, the compressed air enters the air chamber  from the hole through the automatically opening valve and enters the right tank. It flows through the annular gap to the top of the tank core containing the desiccant. Partially filtered air flows through the porous filter and felt pad, passes through the granular desiccant in the tank core, and then enters the pore size through the felt pad and porous filter.During this process, the moisture in the air is attached to the surface of the desiccant particles, thereby drying the air.

The dried air flows out from the aperture, passes through the throttle hole on the plate valve to another air tank, and then flows through the granular desiccant from bottom to top to the side of the tank core. At the same time, the dry air takes away the moisture attached to the surface of the desiccant particles, flows through the annular gap, the air chamber and the air valve to the exhaust port. In this way, the desiccant in the left tank that has absorbed moisture is restored.

In general, the WABCO air drying tank effectively removes moisture and impurities from compressed air through its internal filtration and drying mechanism, protects the air system from damage, extends the service life of parts, and reduces maintenance costs.
