Electronic Brake Control EBS System

The electronic brake control system EBS integrates the basic functions of brake control, ABS and ASR into one electronic system. Compared with traditional pneumatic systems, EBS can eliminate the response hysteresis of traditional mechanical valves and effectively shorten the braking distance. At the same time, the EBS closed-loop control can match the braking force distribution and load distribution of the vehicle, improving traffic safety and driving comfort. Especially because of the electronic control method, the feeling of the brake pedal is as comfortable as that of a car.
In addition to the powerful braking control function, the electronic braking system EBS can also be used as an auxiliary function platform, which has and derived various additional functions, such as shoe wear adjustment function, retarder integrated management control function, pit stop control, hill start assist, brake assist function and coupling force adjustment.
Knorr-Bremse can support 4S/3Ch to 10S/8Ch, and the application range can range from 2-axle passenger cars to 4-axle trucks. EBS can also be used as a basic platform to expand upward ESP functions, AEBS functions, LDWS functions and more advanced driver assistance control systems.
